Oneg HaKarmel (OHK MED) Ltd. is a medical device company founded in 1999 and located in Tirat Carmel, Israel. The company is positioned among the very few players that develops and manufactures innovative devices for critical care medicine, notably in the segment of blood loss in limb surgery and the emergency management of severe hemorrhagic shock (SHS) and cardiac arrest (CA).
OHK MED has created a platform for implementing advanced physiological principles to provide innovative devices that can improve the outcome of healthcare of patients in critical conditions with unmet medical needs. Our business model is built on developing innovative products, strong regulatory compliance, strategic partnerships, and a dedicated team.
There are four products in the pipeline to date:
HemaShock ®: an auto-Transfusion Tourniquet that shifts blood from the legs to the core during severe shock and cardiac arrest for emergency medicine and the reanimation of critical patients.
Hema-T ®: a tourniquet intended to be used in cases of bleeding from an open wound of an arm or a leg. It is used to prevent life-threatening blood loss.
HemaClear ®: a sterile Exsanguination Tourniquet for bloodless surgical field, which shares technology with the HemaShock.
PrepSleeve ®: a novel device for pre-operative skin preparation for orthopedic and vascular limb surgeries.
